How do I make aTunes and Jajuk not use /root for storage?
I have installed the aTunes and Jajuk pets. But since they are both java apps (portable) they do not need to be installed in puppy, I thought it would be more convenient if I put these programs on the USB harddisk with my music directory on it.
So far so good... both apps can be installed on an external drive. But when I start atunes. jar or jajuk.jar, thefirst acts of these programs is to make a .atunes and .jajuk directory in root (in puppy) where they want to store their preferences and -large!- repositories. This takes up a lot of space. I would like these programs to keep everything on the external disk so I can keep my puppy small.
Is there anyone who can tell me how to make it so?

Hello,
Does the program offer an option to change the location?
If not, a Symlink will work..
Move the directory they create to the USB stick, (drag and drop choose "move") then Symlink it back, (drag and drop, choose "Link Absolute"..)
The program will see it in /root though it is really on the stick.. _________________ "Close the "Windows", and open your eyes, to a whole new world"
