I use slacko puppy now and I wanted to install jdownloader, but every time I try launching the "jd_unix_0_9.sh" file, he says:

"No run action specified for files of this type (application/x-shellscript) - you can set a run action by choosing `Set Run Action' from the File menu, or you can just drag the file to an application.

Note: If this is a computer program which you want to run, you need to set the execute bit by choosing Permissions from the File menu."

Which program should I use, or must I do something else?

Select the file, press Ctrl-P, then tick all the boxes under "Exec".

right click on it, and choose permissions, then choose 'a+x (Make executable/searchable)' and press ok

then left click on it to run the installer..... i think it requires java installed
