How do you access iceWM? |
|
I'm running Wary 5.3 on an older P4 laptop. I installed iceWM with the package manager, but I don't see it anywhere in the Menu. How do you launch this thing? Thanks.

Is it on the Shutdown menu?
You may have to restart X for it show up.
Or, Exit to Prompt, then type xwin icewm

Usually you go to "log out" or "shutdown" on the menu in JWM and select "Exit to prompt". Once at the prompt ( the black screen with words on it ) you type:
This is how it's usually set up to run by most of the Puppy devs unless someone else has set it up differently.
I hope this has helped somewhat. Keep us posted, please?
