Subject description: Slacko 5.3.3

I'm using Slacko 5.3.3
When I checked for missing dependencies, I got these shown :

libmpg123.so.0
libgettextpo.so.0

I could still use Wine without them, but I believe the compatibilities must have been lowered without them.

I looked at the post several times, but it seemed too complicated for me. Anyone knows what these files are for? I seem to be running Puppy just fine without them.

They are optional. I haven't looked at what is actually linked against them in Wine, but mpg123 is an mp3 codec and gettext is all about internationalisation (showing things in your native language). So don't worry about them unless you're having problems with Wine programs which seem like they could be related.

Thanks. I'll just leave it at that. I'm not using too much Wine, so it hasn't whined at me yet.
Now, where's my bottle of wine?
