I need a larger mouse pointer, I tried looking at the cursor theme package from lucid but from what I could see the themes were either smaller or stupid. I don't want some cartoon-like clumsy pointer, just something with sharp lines.

Ideally I just want a larger version of the default main arrow, and all the others left unchanged. Any suggestions?

Did you see this? One of those is bigger than the default that comes with Puppy.

Use it with Menu -> Desktop -> Pcur cursor selector

Of course you could use a bigger mouse, and hope it has a bigger pointer.....

It has been a long time, now i installed that cursor_themes-1.pet that is part of the Puppy 4 repo and apparently the one mentioned by Flash and provided by Pizzasgood .

It is ~5MB and installs to /root/.icons .

I tweaked /usr/sbin/pcur to extract all icons from the package :

Today i tried Golden-XCursors-3D-0.8 and Xeonyx and settled for the latter :

There is an enlarged cursor font in this package. The pet I made from it is very crude but it should work on Lupu and Wary. It is necessary to restart X server after the installation.
