VLC 2.0 encrypted Blu-Ray disc playback Sub_title: Testing only!! |
|
NOTE!
This is not an official VLC release.
VLC does not yet support blu-ray menus so you must manually select title to play.
Not all Blu-ray movies are supported.
*NB You need to have VLC 2.0 installed, this is just an addon!!!

In the title this is said to work with VLC 2.0.
Mine is VLC 1.1.10 and it still works. Oki... not always, but like 50%, and that is like a lot better than not being able to look at ANY blueray movie.
I could not find any VLC 2.0 for puppy, but if there is any link to a .pet with VLC 2.0, maybe i can also watch some of those 50% that did not work under 1.1.10?

It might be helpful to say which build of Puppy you are using, but hey try this:

Hopefully you will find something there

I found the VLC2.0, installed it and after installing Qt4, it worked, but there was no improvement on ability to play more videos.
Yet I am happy to be able to play some, and it worked fine with VLC1.1.10 anyway under Lucid 5.2.8
