Tablets

#77 Post by geo_c »

Hey guys, I'm looking at these tablets:

http://www.indiegogo.com/pengpod

and wondering about installing the studio in the 8gb of flash, or running from SD card. It doesn't look like the RAM is up to it spec though. I tend to need about 3g of RAM to run the studio comfortably.

Also is Slacko compatible with touch screens and so forth?

Very interesting. I'm curious myself.

I don't know about the touchscreen/Slacko thing. Anyone else have an idea?

Hey cthisbear, you were right about the website. I didn't know why it was loading so slowly; I think it was because all the packages I uploaded messed up my database files. Now that I've optimized them, the site seems ok.

I've also lowered the price back down. When Studio 4 was $9.99, it literally didn't even cover the cost of materials and shipping, and I got tired of driving to the post office to mail the damn things. Plus, the low price made it so that people were buying it instead of Studio 13.37 (which makes sense if you're curious and haven't tried either of them). So I had to raise the price on Studio 4, which meant I had to raise the price on Studio 13.37 also. So now that Studio 4 has been released for free, I can put the price of Studio 13.37 back down.

If that makes any sense. :D

Total $29.99 USD

Hey! Don't tell the bank manager that you are making a fortune.

I hope that sales pick up.....
and thanks for the recent freebie >> Studio 4.

Thankfully the morons haven't deleted that post yet.

They'd have to be pretty dumb to delete your post about a free Linux iso. But crazier things have happened in this world. :)
