Need Nice Desktop Icons

#1 Post by ChazZTheSpazZ »

I want my new Puppy 1.0.8 desktop to look great, like the Windows XP GUI, only not. I don't really want much to do with the XP icons, I want ones that look bubbly and shiny and nice but aren't MS. More specifically, here's a list of what I want the icons to be and what I need them for:
  • A desktop computer for my My Computer icon
A RAM chip for my FileSystem symlink in My Computer
A CD or cd-rom for my CD-ROM symlink in My Computer
A floppy disk or fdd for my Floppy symlink in My Computer
Something appropriate for a pup001 file (maybe a dog head or something similar to the XP My Documents icon?)
An HDD for my C-Drive symlink in My Computer
Somehow when I installed IceWM, the icon for RXVT changed. I want the old one back.
I would prefer all to be 64x64 but I'm cool with whatever I can get.
I'm gonna display a screenshot of my Puppy on deviantART with My Computer open and probably Photoshop running. I've already installed IceWM and the theme i want. All I need for it to be complete is the icons.

(Yes I know My Computer is MS-related.)
I agree with Glenn Beck. Elmo is definately the antichrist.

Currently my favourite:

Here is a Puppy-screenshot using it with the Rox 2.4.1 , that can display icons better than Rox 1.2:

It depends on how much time you have to look at all the eye candy but I bet you can find what you want at. http://www.kde-look.org/

Wow, those icons on KDE-Look are awesome. Thanks guys. I'll post a link to the screenshot when I've got it set up and uploaded.
