A n00b messing with 5.3 and I had accidentally gotten rid of slickpet and cannot find it again. Can someone help me reclaim or locate this essential desktop item?

Drag 'n' Drop this file: /usr/sbin/quickpet
on to the desktop.
You can then right-click on the icon,
select Edit Item and change the text displayed below the icon

I delated all the desktop icons because I didn't want any clutter.
Now I've read that I need to use Slickpet. And it seems from here to have been a desktop icon.
But I can't find any file called /usr/sbin/quickpet. Nor any file with pet in the name anywhere apart from petget.
I was trying to install Python. It's not in the package manager.

Following the instructions to get python on Puppy, it says to install the file for your version. So you pick your version. Then it takes you here, with a variety of files for the selected version, but no help as to which, if any, is more applicable than any other:

For icons try: desktop settings >> templates for desk icons >> choose your layout >> apply.
