I have just got done doing the upgrade and slimmed down the ISO.

It is up and ready to download.

Hi oldyeller,

It looks good although not quite done. Really like the clean desktop and the selection of Alkitab, Bibletime, and BibleDesktop Bible study programs along with sample Sword modules.

I don’t think that you intended for Bibletime to be the older version 2.7.2 since the latest version is supported by Slacko.

Firefox is a good browser choice, however, not the test
Nightly build. The latest Firefox-12 that works well in Slacko is here

Did you intend to have Bible bookmarks? If so, they are empty.

Problems:
1. There is no menu icon on the panel bar.
2. Help icon does nothing.

Hi Jim

It was my plan to use 2.7.2 since you can see what lang. you want were 2.8 and 29. does not show the lang. only the flag.

I have fixed the Help icon so it works now and I put the menu on the toolbar.

This is the area in which I was referring to. Not a big deal but it does help to see what language of the bible you want to download and install.

Hi Everyone,

I have made Bpup5.2.1 updated iso with the following updates

1 the pet that CatDude did for icewm
2 More background pics
3 New icons for some of the themes
4 The update for GetFlash by shinobar
5 Add two more buttons at the bottom to the icewm congif gui

You can download .pet also for the update if you have alread made a save file. You will have to uninstall CatDudes pet to install the update

All will be in the first post.

Hi everyone,

I have to shut down BiblePup because someone else owns the name which I did not know sorry.

I have asked Flash to delete this threa so that there is no more trouble here on the forum.

The iso's will be removed from the internet.

Those are also good names to use.

My wife and I have been talking about some names like FaithPup, SalvationPup, God'sPup, GospelPup, TheWayPup, SeedPup, MannaPup, TheDoorPup, HeavenPup.

not sure which one just yet; There is also the Latin name for Bible that ETP brought up as well.

Oldyeller & Jim1911 (especially):
When unemployed in 1993, finding KJV not an easy read and the NKJV both copyright and more than just 'thees & thous' replaced, with my pastor's blessing, I did a search & replace fix of a public domain KJV New testament, with regard to tense.
