So how does one do it?

one download the .tar.gz? and then click on it and move the .so to
the so one already have to replace the old one?

I did it once but now I have forgotten how one do it.

Thanks, yes now I know and then I make a book mark and
next time I have no idea where the bookmark is or how to find it .

Never been a fan of adobe. Any alternative would be welcome. If it does not run on what I have installed, I do not need to run it.
