Well... puppy does run very fast when it's all in ram (ofc), but I use puppy sometimes as an emergency repair CD, which involves lots of reboots, so having to wait for puppy to copy the entire usr folder to memory is not very appealing, especially on a comp with a somewhat slow CD drive. Is it possible to have a selection that boots puppy without copying everything to memory right off the bat?
There is also this weird bug (don't know if anyone else encountered it), that puppy will refuse to take input from the keyboard after it's booted, unless I keep pressing on some key. Currently, I have to press the caps lock and/or num lock continuously in order for the keyboard to stay alive after booting.
Thanks.
Making Puppy NOT copy everything to ram?
