I want gramps on ver. 4.xx of Puppy. Either by installing wine and then using the portable gramps app. OR by being able to install Gramps 2.5.x directly to Puppy 4.xxx. I am using a very old laptop. Compaq presario 168 RAM, 4 gb hd, 300mhz cpu. Thanks in advance for your help. The puppy 4.x.x works just fine, but I have to have gramps. Thanks. |

Your computer should be able to handle a later distribution ie: latest Wary, Lucid, or Slacko. The linux version of Gramps runs fine on these. As to your question, see here for latest Wine. |
