It effects all linux kernels after 2.6.39. The exploit lets processes run as root, but it doesn't effect most puppy users as they already run all processes as root.

Puppy is open to all exploits, so there is no need to worry about any one exploit in particular. Anyone who finds you and knows how can exploit your box -but only while it is running.
