Ok, sorry, have to ask this.
Are you sure you are using JWM?
Default window manager is OpenBox.
Can change with menu->Desktop->Desktop settings->WM Switcher

Jwm is the Puppy default wm , but luci/lupu implemented icewm and others .
jwmconfig
in console should show if [/usr/local/] jwmconfig [2] is installed .
jwmconfig is partly buggy ... have fun !

No need to be sorry.
I assumed JWM was the default window manager. Apparently, it isn't. You're correct. OpenBox is default with lupu.
Thanks for the heads up.

(off topic)
I've reset the desktop to Openbox and have since changed the themes. Thanks for pointing out how to do it. In lupu 5.2.8, it's thru:
Menu > Desktop > Desktop Settings > Openbox config
I like it a bit more than JWM because the menus are easier to maneuver. JWM's very nervous about refreshing while Openbox is more relaxed. However, Lupu's default is not my preference.
Thanks again for the tips.
=)

JRE |
|
There still exist a problem with JRE on a LIve Media system.
This problem existed in 525 as well.
In 5258 when the PPM is used to add JRE to the system, it is NOT retained over reboot. In other words, something is not happening properly when the save-session is added to the LIve media.
Ideas.of whether this will be fixed in an interim update?
Thanks in advance.
