Hello,
Is there any objection dragging and dropping /usr/share/applications desktop files on Puppy desktop to easily make shortcuts to applications or is there serious reason to avoid doing this?
Cordialement.

Hello,
It is the best and more simple way to make shortcuts on desktop I ever used, simply changing suffixes if too long... but as I didn't see anywhere anything about this way to proceed, I thought it wasn't very 'catholic', as we are used to say in French and then didn't dare to recommend it to Toutou users!
So, sure I can from now on?
Cordialement!
Thank you for answering and happy to read this! No. Just drag and drop.
