Two questions, that maybe only a new user would ask:
1. How do I boot manually? I have two drives, with the setup set to look for Drive D first (a CD-RW drive), then the floppy, then the HD. I'd like it to look first at Drive E (a CD-R Drive), but I can't seem to make it do that by changing boot under setup.
2. Can I boot from the old CD-R-type drive anyway?
Thanks in advance.
How to specify which drive to boot from? (Solved)
I guess this is IDE-cd-drives.
I also guess they are connected to the second IDE-slot on your motherboard.
If I understand you correct, your BIOS doesn't give the access to choose whitch cd to boot.
The D-drive is set as master, and your E-drive is set to slave. Switch master / slave, and your problem might have been solved.
Good luck

Booting from Slave Drive

That is exactly the situation. I guess I'm going to have to pull the drives out and switch the jumpers. Is there an easier way?
