puppeee 1.0, eee pc 701sd, wireless problem

Subject description: could see wireless networks, but cannot connect		  
i tried running puppeee 1.0 in the asus eee pc 701sd from a usb drive. the puppeee got in the usb drive via unetbootin. so as i boot, everything is well. the x is loaded, the desktop is shown, the reso is right, the mouse is moving.

i tried setting up a wireless connection, and the puppeee uses pwireless2. although i can see several wireless networks, i am not able to connect to any. i could press connect, and a message says on how it may take 30 secs to reconfigure. i waited, but still, no internet.

note that i did not do any installation, just boot from usb. is this the cause? any thoughts, ideas?

nevermind. i think i'll go for lupu, find drives there and make or break this eee lol. mods, please close the thread. thank you.

I run 525 on an early EEPC. It works great. I would suggest trying it out and perhaps just stop using pupeee. It really is a shame that all of the special stuff of the pupeee isn't in some SFS you can add.
