In Sylpheed (which is the default mail program installed with Puppy Lucid) I set it up so I can use it with my Gmail account. If I set Sylpheed as a startup program it opens in the screen upon startup and prompts me to input my Gmail password, upon which it will then notify me of any new email by its envelope icon in the taskbar which will flash if there is any.
I was wondering if there's some way to bypass having me to input my Gmail password each time, some way it can just log me into my account automatically instead, and a way so that the whole program doesn't have to open on the screen upon startup, but maybe just instead have its envelope icon appear down in the taskbar.
Any comments/advice in this regard would be appreciated. thanks
