I'm running Stretchdog32 as user "puppy" and am having problems starting the firewall: as user "root" the firewall starts automatically, but with user "puppy" it doesn't.
I need to go to the menu, select "FirewallStatus Firewall Tray Icon", which then prompts me for puppy's password. Then the firewall starts. This step is not necessary under user "root", so I'm assuming it's a permission issue.
How can I get the firewall to start without first entering the password?
Thank you!

That's okay of course, but.. for info, the firewall issue should be solved, see:stroudmw wrote:I decided that it would be easier just to use ufw instead.
