Click on the 'market' button to add extra plugins (they are free) ....

probably mielophones most powerful plugin is the vkontakte one, giving you access to over 10,000,000 tunes ! unfortunately to use it you need a vk.com account, which is invite only. If you have a russian friend, get them to send you an invite.

however, even without the vkontakte plugin, mielophone is pretty awesome stuff.

Note: when you start mielophone you get an unvalidated certificate warning from adobe air (this is because it's looking for a gnome or kde enviroment)...click the trust for this session option ..... i'm looking for a fix for this, but have posted the pet anyway.

Also, it doesn't like JWM... works fine in openbox & xfce though

i recommend un-checking the 'close to tray' box in mielophone settings, as it can cause problems.

i found an extension for mielophone that improves the download functionality.
It adds a 'download all' button

install it after installing mielophone

Code: Select all

Usage:

Download Button:            Current song is downloaded.
Download All Button:        All songs in PlayList are downloaded.
Mode Button:                Changes current download mode.

Download modes availables:	

N - Normal Mode:            AD to ~/Mielophone 
H - Hierarchy Mode:         AD to ~/Mielophone/Artist/Album/
A - Hierarchy A Mode:       AD to ~/Mielophone/Artist/
M - Manual Mode:            For each song, ask's destination folder.

(~ = User documents folder)
AD: Automatically downloaded.
