[TUTORIAL] Make Puppy Recognize Your Files for Icon Purposes Subject description: I made you a present. |

I wrote a tutorial for those newbies out there who have a special type of file and want it to have its own icon. For example, an eReader file such as .epub (shows up as a gear by default), or a file that you only work on at work but want to assign a pretty icon to it when you look at the contents of your flash drive, at home.
This does not tell you how to make it open with a program. This only tells you how to assign an icon to that type of file to get rid of those annoying gears or other default icons.
Presented with easy language, clear instructions, and lots of pictures ...
