Check out Barry's blog for the patch he did. I tried to make a pet for the patch, but it failed to allow me to make a pupsave file on a shutdown after booting with pfix=ram. EDIT: My Bad! I failed to make sure the shutdownconfig script had the executable attributes set. So here is the revised PET for it. Brief instructions: Boot with pfix=ram parameter. After setup and before shutdown or reboot, install the Pet. You should then be able to make an encrypted pupsave file that actually has your settings saved.
