Here you seems to have gotten it to work?
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=581140#581140

you write
Quote:
I Download http://diddywahdiddy.net/Puppy500/lupu-528.002_for_256MB.iso
and make a frugal installation.

I bootup puppy and then hot plug my wireless modem.
Modem detected on ttyUSB3. Configure wvdial and get connected.
No problem at all.
Thanks once again.

Goutam

So are you talking about another computer now?
Can you not install it in same way?

That RHEL how is that one installed? Does it not have a boot
where you can add code for booting a frugal install of lupu?

Yes I am talking about another computer with 512MB of RAM. RHEL4 is installed. I can't make frugal installation because it the computer at my workplace. I can't change the boot menu.

Oh that makes sense. So what options do you have then?
Do them or they at all accept that you do use a usb or CD
to boot on their computers? Here in Sweden you could get
instantly fired for not being loyal and posing a security risk.

Union would not help you get your job back. Is that worth it?

To get answer from others I trust you have to give enough
info so them get motivated to help you out. I am not on that
level so I wish you luck and bow out of the thread
