What's the most recent Puppy for eeepc?
Been searching around google and the forums but I'm not seeing any current puppys for the eeepc anymore. I was looking at lxpup but I'm not quite sure. Does anyone use an eeepc anymore and use Puppy with it? I have a eeepc 1015ha model and I use debian on my normal computer.

My M&A Companion netbooks is EEEPC 1000ha component spec close.
Read the inxi readout to see the specs. That one is the touchscreen one.

I have 2 models. One touchscreen, The other not.
Carolina Vanguard runs just fine on those. I used to run
puppeee before.

Puppee was a pretty slick distro but Jemimah moved on to Saluki and then Carolina Puppy took over from there. If you catch my drift.
So, If I was in your shoes. I'd roll with

Since it is most current. That glitch I mentioned in my post was due to my user error during my install. I fixed it later and mention that later in the thread on how I screwed up while running the installer.

Thanks guys for the responses. I used Puppy for years but changed over to Crunchbang and have been there ever since but my netbook which I use sometimes when I'm not at my desk lags with #! and Mint. I'm a Debian fan but it's a little heavy for my eee 1015pe. I'd have thought that Puppy would have a few specialized distros for these little computers. I'll try Carolina and hope for an openbox-thunar version designed for browsing and listening later.
Again thank you for the response.

There's this one for the 700 and 900 series eee, and the full version for the 1000 series and up.
Both are based on Slacko-5.7 using a newer kernal (3.4.82) if you look around those provided links, there is a minimal Free Office install, or a full one if you visit freeoffice dot com.
cheers
