Subject description: Bug: Gnome Player, cannot save user preferences in Slacko 5.3

I have changed a couple of checkboxes in the Edit->Preferences dialog and settings are not saved. I was trying to have only one instance of Gnome Player at a time.

pulmac,

The issue you have is known. In PPM there is a slightly older gnome-mplayer in the multimedia section which you can safely install.

There are reasons that it was done this way and if you would like to peruse the beta and RC Slacko threads you will find out why Wink

Cheers
