and run the program.
You just have to click on all the buttons at the top to figure out how it works - it has open, save, save as, undo, redo, etc..
So far I've read in a file that I need to add rectangles to, and it can make rectangles (and other shapes).
And you can change the thickness of the line which is essential.
I notice it DOES have redo and undo.
It definitely has a chance to allow me to finish this little design I'm doing.
MS paint clone .pet
I know this is an old thread, but people watching may also want to try Hotshots.
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here

I have a copy of paint xp that works on my wine. Running xenial and wine 2.0
can't say they will work for anyone else but I've attached it
EDIT: below is the original file with installer.

Give one or all of these a try. They work well under Wine in Tahrpup.

I use version2013's WINE 1.7.51 in all my Pups. MSPaint runs perfectly under this.
I've enclosed a link to the original mspaint.exe file, and a Menu Entry for the same. Place mspaint.exe in /root/.wine/drive_c/Program Files, and install the Menu Entry .pet.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/o9d4k9 ... _MenuEntry
MSPaint will start from the Graphics menu. There is a delay of a few seconds, so please be patient.
Enjoy!

I also run PhotoFiltre, as mentioned above by rockedge, under WINE as a Windows PortableApp, from here:-
https://portableapps.com/
The difference with these, as Mikeslr has posted about elsewhere on the Forum, is that they don't install to the WINE 'container'. In fact, they'll run from anywhere else except the WINE container.....! If you attempt to 'install' their .exe files as normal, they'll balk, hang, and freeze; for our purposes, the .exe file is essentially your launcher.
