A graphic for a DVD case, one of the big black ones, has been made.
I wanted to take it a step further and make an insert for a CD case.

I promised steps, so here is what you can do.
First, choose a graphic of your choice.
It can even be a snapshot of your desktop.
Once you have one decided on and made, open AbiWord.
resize the width of the AbiWord window using a sheet of printer paper as reference so you get the same width of the paper on the screen as your printer paper.
This helps in resizing the graphic.
Pick insert Picture and select your graphic.
Using your paper as a straight edge, and the horizontal and vertical rulers, resize the image to 4.75 inches both vertically and horizontally.

Now Pick insert Text Box and a Font of your choice with a size of your liking that shows up good.
Type the name of the Puppy version in the box and locate it on the lower part of your graphic.
You can then save it for future reference for printing more inserts as needed.
This is only the front insert and a stiff piece of paper behind it helps keep it in place.

I used a nice picture of Barry's dog holding a flower for my graphic.
And I made it for Puppy Slacko 5.3 Main.

Download it, remove the zip extension and load it into AbiWord to view it.
I tried to make a screen shot of it loaded into AbiWord, but the Text box did not get put in the graphic snapshot.

I had promised an example graphic of a CD insert and now have two for you.
These are not sized as inserts. But give you an idea of what you can make and other fonts can be used.
I used Plogo to make the graphic to paste into the picture or background image.
