Puppy Slacko 5.3.1

#1 Post by claude »

I did a frugal installation of Puppy Slacko 5.3.1; when I modify the keyboard map with the countrywizard, the new configuration (cf keymap) is ok.
After I reboot, the modified configuration is not restored.

Any solution please ?

Here's a dumb question . Do you have a PupSave file which is
where the configuration files are stored?

Check inside your folder (where you made your frugal install)
just to be sure.

It is possible that there is a bug in pupsaveconfig that the
PupSave wasn't created even though a message on the
screen said it was. Shinobar ,the developer,
should be told about this on his thread then.

You should rename this thread 'Bug in Slacko?' to avoid confusion
with other threads.

Yes, there is a pupsave inside my directory (frugal install).

Thank you for your suggestion.
