How to install PupWin98 in a second partition? Subject description: Install on another harddrive partition (Drive D)
I'm about to attempt to install PupWin98 on my little Libretto 110CT laptop. I have win98 installed on a FAT32, 2.6GB partition and it's pretty much full. I would like to install PupWin98 on a second partition (Drive D). How do I do that?
But I would rather find a way to install Puppy to a dedicated ext2 partition and dual boot with Win98. I cannot boot from a CD, nor does a floppy like grubflop.img find the CD drive.
You will need to make adjustments to the disk/partition references in the instructions if you are not installing on the Windows partition. There is a tech note in the project that discusses that, which I advise you to read before starting the install.
