Backup the Pupsave file with Pschedule
I have developed a simple method to backup the
Pupsave file at a scheduled time, for instance
once a day.
You can schedule to do the task overnight
if you wish.
Just install the pet package, then use a right click
on your Pupsave file and choose the 'Backup'
right click menu option.
I thought up this method while reading the following thread
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=71927
I used jrp's simple script to do the copy.
Pschedule is the easy way to do a task on a scheduled
basis so I combined the two.
I've tested this on Lucid Puppy 525 and puppy 4.3.1
Note : If you wish to check if pschedule has been
set correctly, just launch pschedule from the Start menu.
Start menu > System > Pschedule
You will see a list of tasks that you have scheduled.

note to jrp: I've changed the name
of the app to backup_pupsave to avoid confusion

Good idea.
Noticed if you leave the initial settings for Pschedule, you get a backup every minute.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

I've included this script in Right click 526 pet package
for Wary and lucid puppy 520 and 525 users.
