Booting a Self-Signed Kernel with UEFI

#1 Post by Q5sys »

This isnt for the faint of heart. but it may be of interest to some here who want to run on a system with UEFI, but are unable to. It will require some slight alterations for it to work with Puppy, but i don't see any reasons why it wouldn't work for Puppy. Might work as described, but I think some minor changes might be needed since our initrd is set up differently than most normal distros.

This requires you to compile your own kernel, so be aware this is not something to jump into without doing your research first!
