I just ran across an annoying and possibly bad pop-up. It would not let me close the tab or firefox and kept opening back up when I closed out of the dialog boxes.

Awesome Quick Fix, if you have a menu bar:
Navigate to Tools -> Options -> Content and uncheck Enable JavaScript.
Close the Offending Tab.

Navigate to Firefox -> Options -> Content and uncheck Enable JavaScript.
Close the Offending Tab.

Everyone should know this! I am sad it has taken these many years to learn it. hehe.

Don't forget to renable JavaScript.

Ah I had something like that the other day. I try to write this down in some Notes and put a link to it and to have symlink something.
