Does Debian`s apt-get and Synaptic work in Puppy?

Thinking it would be easier for dependencies to be handled this way.

Got an idea how to use it for making Squash file packages.

Simple answer.....no. But, back in the early Dpup days Gposil and crew had apt-get/Synaptic on a good path to reliably working in Puppy.He had to move on to other things so the development just stopped at that point.

Goingnuts has it working with pupngo.
