YAP-WB-010-AF -- The Announcement
----------------------------------------------------------

Hi all together outside there and inside here of course.

This is the announcement for an introduction of a new smart member in the Puppy world - a new Puppy derivative.
This new Pup is called YAP which is the short form of ‚Yet Another Pup‘. But this is not its complete and full name.

So I like to give away a secret now - its full name is YAP-WB-010-AF.

Since YAP-WB-010-AF is still under construction, there is still some more time needed.
But, if all things went well, the announced introduction for YAP-WB-010-AF should happen during the next 2 weeks - right here, in this place.

The complete event of introduction will consist out of 5 parts:
- The Introduction
- The Show
- The One For You
- The Details
- The Thank You

And because there is no reason, I think, that the things here are getting more excited as they should, you can see already 2 pictures of YAP-WB-010-AF today. The first one shows YAP-WB-010-AF how it will look like, how it will look on the event of introduction. The second one shows the look of YAP-WB-010-AF, now - today. So, as you can see, there are still some things to do to get all things running.

Unfortunately I haven‘t got a place for hosting this smart YAP until now.

So I would be very pleased, if there is someone somewhere out there, who could tell me, where I can find a small place for hosting this new YAP, or someone who likes to give this young YAP a very small kennel for hosting. It needs not much space, really - and of course it‘s house-trained already, truly.

See you soon - hopefully

very cool, looks like 2.14X on steroids :)
If you upload you iso to mediafire 200MB max on free account, no signup http://www.mediafire.com/ and post the link then I could download/upload it to the server I use and then provide you with a link until someone sets you up with some server space :)

Hi ttuuxxx.

I‘m very pleased that you like it :)

Thank you very much for your tip and thank you very much for your help :)

I‘ll do it in exact that way, you‘ve told me.

Cheers ;)

Hi all together.

Well, sometimes I think, that I should have taken some more time than only 2 weeks, as written in the announcement posting. 3 weeks perhaps.

The reason is, that I‘m still fighting with making the iso - and still I don‘t see any land at the horizon. Every time there is something not quite right, something that don‘t want to work in the manner I would like it to work.

But while I‘m still having several other road works inside the YAP, I have a good chance to get these issues with the iso out of my focus and out of my head, for some time.

However, the countdown is still running.

About 11 days left until take-off.

And about half a day left to have another try for getting an iso which makes some more sense, this time.

So, I have to hurry up now.

Cheers

Hi all together.

While I was looking for some goodies for the YAP-WB-010-AF when I was stumbling through the internet, I found something quite different but very curious far out there, which I like to share with you today.

It‘s a font and its original name is: AES Puppy Dog Font. Unfortunately this font is quite far away from having a complete set of characters. But nevertheless, it‘s cool, isn‘t it?

Cheers

Hi all together.

Just a short question.

Do you like fonts or do you need fonts, perhaps?

If you are looking for some cool fonts for your Puppy and you have some time right now, it could be quite a good idea, to have a look at the thread located in that place.
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=68093

And another short question.

Do you have some fonts in your Puppy, that you like to share with the Puppy community, but you don‘t know where?

If you have some fonts or even only one font, you like to share with the Puppy community, but don‘t really know where to share, it could be quite a good idea to have a look at the thread located in that place, too.
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=68093

That‘s it for the moment.

Cheers

Hi all together.

At first I‘ve to say that unfortunately I can‘t keep the deadline for starting the introduction of YAP-WB-010-AF in time. And I‘m very sorry about that. So I have to put the countdown on hold for a while, hopefully not too long. On one hand it seemed to be that I‘ve lost a little bit the overview of YAP-WB-010-AF and all these funny little things comming with it. All these everlasting sunshines. On the other hand I‘ve got some more ideas, which I like to have already implemented in YAP-WB-010-AF. However, I‘m not able to say at the moment, when YAP-WB-010-AF will be released exactly.

As a small consolation and for your pastime and for your pleasure of course, until YAP-WB-010-AF is ready for take-off, I like to invite you to have a look to some parts of a special kind of documentation of a special journey. Unfortunately I can‘t say who made this journey, but I can tell you the title of the documentation. And I‘m pretty sure, that it‘s quite easy for you to find out who is really making this journey.

From time to time there will be another part of the journey being posted here in this thread. And another part and still another part - as long as YAP-WB-010-AF is still under development. Hopefully it take not too much time - as I don‘t know how many parts the journey really have.

However, please enjoy the STATIONS OF A JOURNEY until YAP-WB-010-AF is really ready for take-off.

Still some final words before starting. As mentioned above, this won‘t be the whole documentation of the journey - and the stations shown here aren‘t in the same order as the journey itself. But nevertheless, in the end all parts of the STATIONS OF A JOURNEY will be part of YAP-WB-010-AF too, of course.

So, let‘s go now - for one part - and another one.

And sorry for the delay.

Cheers

Hey man hurry and let try this. Man on soaj-11-thumb.jpg you showed what seems to be a fine baby there. If this release is going to be that fine then please by all means stop making our mouths water and bring it on.

@l2ulinux
I promise that YAP-WB-010-AF will come. And believe me, it will be that fine. But it needs some more time - as mentioned above.

Hey maik.murks -
you sure you're not bugman?
Love those wallpapers - is that a sunken bug in the lower left corner of the screen you last posted?
Cheers.

P.S. And now I've had to go back and play "where's Buggy?" with your earlier screenies. Maybe I stopped at soaj-11-thumb.jpg a just a little too long and intently....
