ymount language support

#1 Post by L18L »

requires:
- yad (in every recent puppy)

Get ymount-1.3.1 from here (no need if you are happy with 1.1 but required if there is no rox on your system)

Get ymount-1.1 from http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 3&start=85
localize.HOWTO in /usr/local/ymount/nls/ymount

This application can switch between all installed languages 8)

Updated ymount-NLS.pet always here

If you need any program translated into Greek, just give me the .pet file for the application and the .pot file for the language... :)

I have tested and found help is broken in wary 5.2
It is just an image that makes it break.

See attached files. Romanic languages usually take more space, so test and see how the translations fit the application GUI.

Tested
yad is taking automatically width for buttons, but all the same maximal width. This could be problematic on small screens (800x...)

Longest term is "peripheriques selectionees"
If we want to make it perfect I suggest finding shorter terms or a abbreviations would avoid this problem for small screens (OLPC ?).

Maybe just "Peripheriques" without selectionees makes sense?
Let me know please. I can do the changes myself if you agree.

Thanks for translating and testing

Please do this little correction to Italian locale for the next version (no need to release a new version just for a single letter  ):

(Line 217 using POedit)

Adesso, scegli una partizione \n
oppure scegli varie partizioni per montare o smontare.
