Toshiba Satellite L655: no wireless in Lucid 528 (Solved)

Tempestuous: I recently acquired a Toshiba Satellite L655 laptop,it comes with the Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless Lan 802.11n PCI-E .NIC .PuppyLinux 528 does not recognize the adapter.I have tried most of the drivers that are suggested in this and other treads and I have failed miserably.Please help me with this one.Thank you for your efforts in helping the Puppy Community.

You need the Realtek r8192ce_pci driver. I posted it last October, here -

Make sure your Puppy version is actually 5.2.8, not 529, otherwise the driver will be incompatible.

Posting from the Toshiba on wireless access yipiii. A note to add: I had to use Network Connection Wizard because Simple Network Setup was not able toget a DNS.
Now on to frugal dual boot without disturbing Windows 7!!
