ps3 compatibility built puppy linux?

hey being a ps3 owner and with older firmware i have been looking around for a linux to install i been a huge puppy fan but never thought to ask the forums if its able to install on a ps3 .not wanting to install one of the little options i have for a linux is this possible ? is anyone working on this or am i asking a dumb question?

I suppose it'd be possible, with some work. But bear in mind that at the very least, Puppy would have to be retooled for the PS3's Cell architecture. I couldn't begin to guess how extensive a project that might - or might not - be.

I think the version of Yellow Dog they already had for use on the PS3 was already jury-rigged in a number of ways, so that might have to be taken into account as well.
