Hey everyone, sorry to bug you with this question as I am quite new to (actually coming back) to Puppy. I've just installed on a USB drive the newest iso which looks great. My problem is I can not connect to the internet via ethernet cable. On this machine I'm running Ubuntu which it connects fine with, but when I boot into puppy it can't find the driver I'm assuming..Atheros AR8132 / L1c Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is what I need to figure out. I'm assuming Ubuntu already has the driver stored some place so I need some help finding that (hopefully) then I can configure it with puppy. Any help would be awesome guys as I know the community is strong here. Thanks for your time!

Sorry bit more info...

i'm running lupu-525.iso on an Aspire One computer. The USB drive is a kingston 4g DataTraveler. I've tried all network options but Ndiswrapper and when I search the web, I can't even seem to find a driver for this adapter. Thank you for the reply and help!

Please Describe steps you take to establish connection.
You do what?
You see what?

May not be doing it properly. What you do and what you see lets us understand where the problem may be.

Finlandia aka 'Two Headed Dog' is the latest updated Lucid.

Ethernet connection should be automatic.
If not click on 'Connect' icon
and select eth0

Connected?

I'm fairly certain you will need the upgraded Atheros atl1e driver -

but if you're prepared to get the latest Lucid - "Two Headed Dog", as Lobster suggested,
this upgraded driver is already included.
