Hi i am trying to remaster a puplet i am working on. atm i am having trouble removing the nvidia drivers. I installed them to test. on removing them and rebooting i notice that the nvidia driver settings are still in the menu. they should have been removed. i then remastered anyway and still got the nvidia drivers as default.

i probably will need to manually remove them. so where are the nvidia drivers found and what do i need to remove.

This works for me:

In the PPM (Puppy package manager) remove nvidia pet, if it was installed that way.
Exit to prompt (via Menu-shutdown);
enter: rmmod nvidia
let it run through and reboot (not just restarting X).

That should take care of it.
