It doubles your tray apps but restarting X fixes it. Does the delayedrun go to the end and the script ends freeing console ?.
Appears that entire script ran.

Just done a frugal install on my Dell D620( Core Duo). All working well, Connected to wireless network (BCM43) with frisbee without any issues.

Network successfully auto connected on reboot. Flashplayer downloaded and installed successfully. Seamonkey seems very snappy, flash video plays very smooth.

This is an excellent puppy. Well done!!

Just d/l iso, burned to cd and booted to desktop.

Sound works, auto connect to internet works.

Installed abiword 2.90 lucid52 pet and gnumeric 1.10.13 Lucid52.pet
I had to add following libraries to get abiword to boot

libXxf86misc.so.1
libwv-1.2.so.3
libwmf-0.2.so.7
libwmflite-0.2.so.7
libgoffice-0.8.so.8
copied these from lucid 528 and works - no problem

In seamonkey, if you go to edit - preferences - privacy & security
and check all boxes, then shut down seamonkey and attempt to open again, receive message another copy is already running. You have to restart x to get it going again.

playdayz provided fix for this = libgconf2.4_3.1.6 pet which solves this problem

Next, I am going to do full install to hard drive. Will report back later

5x4 pfix=ram manual frugal hdd install to ext4. Frisbee detected my troublesome broadcom wl.ko drive and made connection once inputted particulars. usual lag between frisbee making the connection and then showing on gui. iirc only fd64 autodectecs making the connection and close frisbee's gui properly.

os seems very responsive and think I like the new layout.

tried to get sm to hang by starting a download closing browser then reopening. then close download process and closed sm again and sm reopens without issue. this is how have found certain browser errors in the past but maybe don't understand how sm failed previously.

About Filemanagers. Emelfm2 has two panes and nice gui diff possibility. I need it. Emelfm2 is small enough to be in base distro. There is Rox-Filer which will be the main filemanager. Also you can now test my included enlightenment filemanager EFM.
About XFE. It needs Fox libs. Together they are too big to be included in base distro. XFE will be another option to be installed from pet.

Hi Pemasu

Looking really good.....congrats

Couple of feedbacks:

nbtscan seems to have gone missing again so pnethood doesn't work - see screenie

still need the small edit to 1vattery to get the battery indicator in jwm

i have a strange problem with console uxrvt - it sort of freezes - things typed don't display but about every 2 secs the display flashes and shows what has been typed for a short time and then the typing disappears again.....sorry difficult to describe

there seems to be a wealth of shutdown managers available but the only one with the suspend facility (which works) is the one reached from PupControl - could this be the default??

Many thanks

pemasu, I really like this interface. It's much more intuitive.

I'm still having problems with idrivepanel, see screeny.

Also how do you get rid of that ugly line. I notice it moves when the top ipanel is active.

All seems to be working very well.

Posting from seamonkey-2.3-lucid now.

Very good job.

idrivepanel

@smokey01.
Read the Idrivepanel thread in desktop.
Seaside explained how to edit the script to get all the drives inside.
It's not a 5X4 problem.

difficult submenu selection.

difficult submenu selection.
Installed the 5X4 FRUGAL Lin'N'Win.
Activated my application environment.
All seems to work.

However: Selecting from a sub-menu isn't very easy.

Back home from work. I will check through the feedback during the evening. I am a little tired, I had really hard day, tough cases. So...dont expect much today, lol.

Anyway.
Peebee. Sorry, I must have included again the pnethood without that nbtscan. I changed to use Barrys packaged clarf-pnethood and it didnt have that nbtscan. I had manually remade the pnethood pet which have it. It is in fact strange that the pnethood pet is created without it. I know Barrys builds have it from some other route. I will remade the pnethood pet. It will be in the reupload. Barrys new pnethood is fixed for new gtkdialog and it will be my used version anyway.

Smokey01. I believe that stripe is somehow due to Engage module at the top. If you change Engage behavior to autohide when window overlaps, it probably helps. Also disabling Engage helps, lol.

Terminal problem. The terminal included in Exprimo is Aterm, whatever it announces. I cant produce the problem, so it is difficult for me to debug it.
Could you check xerrs.log if there is any indication. There are a lot e17 generated messages, which I dont understand much. But if there is something which could be Aterm spesific, it would help me. I can change Aterm to Urxvt-unicode which is also new Iguleders compile. Quite small also.

Idrivepanel. It has quirks. I have included it so that people can test it. I have changed the location and colour of it. How it works. The feedback is for Seaside if he reaches here or somebody asks him about it.

Shutdown managers in e17. Pshutdown is the main shutting-suspend-etc app. It is in jwm menu. And it has suspend icon also. You maybe havent noticed it.
To suspend use console: acpitool -s, Fn-Zz buttons in laptop or Pshutdown app, PupControl has its own Shutdown panel also, like posted earlier. Those who want to suspend laptop, like me, knows the ways quickly.
Iguleders created small app will be in Exprimo at bottom shelf in Ibar.

About apps in Engage and bottom shelf and in e17 menu > Favorite. I will try to make generic selection, but the user with his/her preferences do the tuning. I just fill them so that people has idea what to do next.

I start the fixes in the evening later.

Just if those with terminal freezing or text disappearing problems. I really dont know what is the reason of it, but since Iguleder has compiled rxvt-unicode also, People could test this attached pet. It replaces aterm (creates symlink to urxvt, rxvt symlink is already in pet and I changed the e17 ugly icon to more appropriate.

I would like to get feedback of this terminal. Appearance is default. I dont start atm tinker with outlook.

Dave S. Lol. I suppose you mean it seqfaults in e17. It should. There is no Rox Pinboard loaded in e17.
Of course the desksetup.sh could have checking of having compatible wm loaded. It could be nice hobby for someone who wants to tinker with 01mickos scripts.
