Thanks, I had overlooked that whole settings panel. I'm starting to enjoy E17.

Beem. I have also those empty places in jwm tray panel. Lets call it feature if it does not disturb you. Maybe people in Macpup thread would be more wise though.

I will see with Iguleder and with people in the Macpup group.
As my tray is vertically, I can use some more space.

Following is the pet on which I clicked to download. Rolling Eyes

For the Macpup themes you need to right click on the link and then 'save as".Then click the pet to install.

Dpup Exprimo 5.X.2 is looking very good. Very similar to the other good works you've produced.

I just noticed ALL of the multimedia PETs you've made available to this community, yesterday.
Question
Are you building or planning on building a MediaPUP in the "Pemasu tradition"?

If so, I'm hoping that you don't forget to make it a PAE version so that we can use all RAM for the media experience (as you know, right now, I wasting much of it - 8GB RAM Live media that I would like to use for multimedia simultaneous pleasures.)

Looking forward.

Gcmartin. I dont have any special plans with this Dpup saga. I let it mature by its own atm. I have already quite competent Multimedia puplet, Polarpup. Right now I enjoy this phase of Dpup.

About kernel. Yes, I have intent to publish PAE version also, but I want to wait at least one week if there will be more news concerning 2.6.39 kernels. I dont want to compile and again after one week. I have had that kernel project already and I have learned what I wanted.

Dave S. Opera works fine. Posting from it. I added missing menu entry icon. Uploaded to the repo. I have to soon ask from smokey01.com if there is daily limit for uploads, that active Dave S has been. Thank you. Highly appreciated.

Anyone know whether X.2 works live ootb with radeon video (eg Mobility Radeon X300)? Had to use vesa with X.1 and seem to recall reading there was a snag with radeon.

Gnomic. Libdrm_radeon.so is included in 5.X.2. That was the missing piece which caused radeon not working.

Quite some time ago I used the xorg-high pet from lucid to get direct rendering.

Is this pet still valid or are there other ways to get direct rendering for my Radeon 7500 graphics?

Beem. I havent included sensors libs. You get them from repo or installing cputemp pet which has them included. Might include libsensors to the next version. Now I left them out. Mostly not needed for everybody. Those who really get useful information can install libsensors4 from repo.

Nowadays laptops does not gather much information through libsensors. For me it was useless. Cputemp pet however needs it and it has libsensors included.

Pupscan usb info gathering has been broken long time. Barry K posted this week that he is going to check if it can be fixed. So the fix will propagate to the woof and so to the new puppies when it is fixed.
Quote:
Note that pupscan has a bug, the "USB devices" button does not work, at least not with the 2.6.32.x kernel. I'll look into that today. After fixing it, I will probably upload Woof soon after.

Beem. Xorg-high created from dpup libgl1-mesa-dri is on the exprimo repo and also as sfs in the same repo and so downloadable from sfs repo, name is xorg_high pet and xorg-high sfs.

Or install libgl1-mesa-dri from the squeeze main repo.

Dont use Lucid Xorg_high, or if you use, please dont post any X - graphics - problems after that, lol.
