I am sure the above are not significant issues and are all resolvable. Aside from these the system is fast and pretty responsive. I am also using the Enlightment desktop and have to do some learning. It seems to be a handy desktop environment once you get hang of it.
Suggestions regarding above issues are appreciated.
marco07 few pages back are outline I used to install Libre Office 4.3.1. using puppizard script and 07pets. Iguleder has new puppizard 08 pet now.

Yes. I already used puppizard 08 and tried to install LO 4.3.2. which was listed in puppizard. It downloaded it and somehow during the built-up, puppizard stalled. I kept on waiting and waiting. Nothing happened. Then I closed it and looked for LO to no avail. I restarted x and looked again it was no where to be found. So, I gave up.
Thanks for advice!

marco07 same happened when I installed it. if you read back from start of my post that pause is the script stripping the 146m package down to 75m, compiling it and installing. just read back.

---------
I left step by step outline so others could follow it.

marco: LibreOffice is a huge package. It takes time to build it.

Puppizard doesn't freeze; things like compression take time.

Here are the missing libs for Abiword. Tiny compared to using the version from the package manager.

For the base Abiword package, go here http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pet_packages-5/ and download abiword_2.8.6.lupu.
I think you also need goffice from the same page.

I will try again! And this time I will Waite till i see some reaction from puppizard. I thought it would not be a bad idea if puppizard script produces a message like " compiling " or something to that effect in order to let people know that it is not stalled.
Thank you and Jim3630 for your advice.

BTW, would it be possible to include the latest version of Kmymoney in the puppizard list of packages as well. This program is a very good money management software with investment and direct banking options which I use regularly.
TIA

It didn't freeze, something failed. Take a look at the build script (/var/pkg/libreoffice.sh) and debug it.

It's very easy to fix those issues.

This package installed fine on my hardware, however, my installation stalled at the same point for an extended time, how long I don't know because I just left it and when I came back later the installation was complete. The only complaint that I had was that it only had write, spreadsheet, and impress.

I looked at it. It is a 168 lines script file. Although it is much beyond my script knowledge, I did not see anything unusual in it.
Now, since pemasu has built a pet, i am going to utilize that and install it.
Thanks a lot for your care!

Marco07. In console run fixmenus and then restart jwm or e17 (if it is needed for e17)

I reupload now the LibreOffice with pinstall.sh script included so that fixmenus and restart jwm are surely done.
Usually that is not needed but my previous version had same problem. This one did install properly for me so I thought it wont need extra pinstall.sh script.

We need java now!
I also need to install a few gstreamer packages in order to have audio in LO Impress.
Thanks!
