In Puppy 520 Lucid the gnome-mplayer interface doesn't show any transport buttons (play, pause, fast-forward, etc). I realised that it is looking for them, but simply can't find them. Here is how I fixed that. I've uploaded the button images to my site at: http://miriam-english.org/files/mplayer-buttons/ Download them and copy them to this folder on your Puppy:
Now, at a command line, type in (or copy and paste in) this command:
Done! From now on, when you click on the "play" icon on the desktop to run gnome-mplayer you'll find it has all the proper control buttons, just as it should. Enjoy. _________________ A life! Cool! Where can I download one of those from? |
