adding control buttons to gnome-mplayer in Puppy lucid Subject description: the control buttons are missing from gnome-mplayer; I worked out how to add them
In Puppy 520 Lucid the gnome-mplayer interface doesn't show any transport buttons (play, pause, fast-forward, etc).
I realised that it is looking for them, but simply can't find them.
Download them and copy them to this folder on your Puppy:
Code:
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/stock/media/
Now, at a command line, type in (or copy and paste in) this command:
Code:
gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/hicolor
Done!
From now on, when you click on the "play" icon on the desktop to run gnome-mplayer you'll find it has all the proper control buttons, just as it should.
Enjoy. _________________ A life! Cool! Where can I download one of those from?
