hello. i went to the beginner forum, but couldn't get my question answered there (at least in an understandable way). vmware forum won't allow me to register despite 2 attempts.
here's the original thread:

vmware player with puppy iso as the guest, and winxp pro sp2 as the host. just want to save the desktop settings, like wallpaper, icons, resolution, etc.
when i shutdown puppy, it asks where to save the lupu file (that saves the desktop settings), but there's nowhere for it to save.
as i'm totally new to puppy, could you step by step show me how to get an area where the settings file can save?
lupu desktop settings not saved in vmware
