Skype 2.2 won't work on puppy525

#1 Post by s3u »

Hello.
I have downloaded the latest skype2.2 version .deb file.
I have installed it and all the missing lib.

Now the skype won't show up in menu,
When I try to run skype from urxvt, it gave message that:
skype: symbol lookup error: skype: undefined symbol: _ZN13QGraphicsView16staticMetaObjectEskype: symbol lookup error: skype: undefined symbol: _ZN13QGraphicsView16staticMetaObjectE
Any help?
Thanks

Why complicate life?
There is a 2.2 sfs which works well.
Find it with the puppy search link in my sig.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
