Does Puppy contain or can I download the necessary features to run their SDK. I am comtemplating taking a stab a making a driver for the Lexmark X83 all-in-one that I own.

1 Linux kernel 2.4x or higher
2. GCC 3.2
3 gtkmm version
4. sigc ++ version 1.2.4
5 make
6. enscript
7: magic

Build Requirements

1 GCC comiler version 3.2
2 CUPS development libraries
3 SANE-Backend development libraries 1.0.13

Note: LLPDDK has been built and validated on the following Linux releases RedHat 8.0, RedHat 9.0, Mandrake 9.0, Mandrake 9.1, SuSE 8.1, and SuSE 82.

The Lexmark USB Scanner Device Driver package conatins the open source codes and the Readme. file.
