Pet Packaging 101 - a nice guide on how to create stripped .pet packages from source, which includes
details on making separate .pet files for EXE (main program), DEV (needed for compiling), NLS (the locales) and DOCs.

gnome-mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer discussion

#3 Post by mikeslr »

Discussion by Playdaz & Pemasu regarding compiling gnome-mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer in Lupu and Spup begins here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 004#529004.

It only runs for a couple of posts, but points out some differences.I came across it while reading thru the Slacko Test build thread, and I thought it may be helpful to others in the future.
