I've got your site bookmarked also,..tuxtoo!
I use the older 4 series Puppys on a couple of older computers I have. Great selection of apps! Very appreciated.

Might be of interest... gtkdialog4 built on puppy 4.12.
Only would need libgio adding if not present (same version as the glib...usually in the same package)

seems to work just fine supporting grkdialog3 scripts plus all the fancy new stuff.

Just to add for info...with gtkdialog4 gtk 2.12 is the oldest version that can be used without function loss...

With my updates for Puppy Linux 3 I stuck with original gtk to update requires using an updated cairo, I try to keep system as original as possible.

With my 3.01 updates have decided to stick with original GTKdialog4 from Wary as I have had no problems with it.

Hi bark_bark_bark, I just went to it again just now. Not sure why you can't reach it. Maybe that is why ally is thinking it is down also. Maybe try a different browser? Thanks, Rob

**** Update 7th Aug 2014 ****

I have changed the hosting of http://412collection.co.uk to Geocities and a bonus of this is that I get a free mirror of 412 Collection at http://412collection.neocities.org

Doesn't work in Iron Portable....a privacy version of Chrome.
( in both addresses that you posted..)

Both links work fine in old Firefox version....Opera and Seamonkey
in Sydney OZ.

Thanks for the feedback. I can access http://412collection.co.uk

If anyone else has problems accessing 412 Collection I would be grateful if you could let me know here of through the 412 Collection web site.

UPDATE

As well as http://412collection.co.uk I have changed the hosting to Neocities which gives the bonus of a free mirror of 412 Collection which can found here -

Which has now been removed as it is detrimental to SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

tuxtoo, when you get a minute, and sorry for the thread sorta-hijack --

I have recently been given a Compaq Notebook 100. It has an AMD K6-2 CPU (i586) and 96meg RAM (max 160meg).

Can you suggest a Pup412 variant that I could attempt to boot, which is i586 or earlier only? (In other words, no i686 software, which requires support for a CPU instruction [CMOV] that this old bucket doesn't have!)

Hey tuxtoo - the site is looking great from FF25.0 and also from Slimboat 1.1.33. Such a relief - there was a good few months last year where I kept getting "website unavailable" or "website restricted access" messages for your site last year, but as all other feedback posts in this thread were action-stations I thought it may have been an issue with my Australian ISP.
