damn you wary 5,5! ... or akita ... whoever was at fault! As i mentioned above, im no sound expert, i think i could force fixed volume levels in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit but not sure if it's wise! My sound card is pretty ancient, a Creative Audio 0106 Sound Blaster but it had worked without running the ALSA Wizards in Akita, Betas 9-13. Weird,eh?
